Took on a new challenge with this environment art project inspired by Hindu mythology, centered around Shiva — the Destroyer.

In this piece, I tried to capture the essence of Shiva as a symbol of transcendence and liberation. I wanted to show a quiet moment of meditation and stillness within an ancient, overgrown temple — a place where he can be left undisturbed in blissful contemplation.

I worked mainly in Blender and Substance Painter to model, texture, and light the scene. This was my first time focusing on creating a detailed natural and architectural environment to evoke a calm, mystical atmosphere.

This piece was created for the Blender Discord Community’s monthly contest, which pushed me to focus on storytelling and atmosphere within a limited timeframe.
